"Indexed, Not Submitted in Sitemap"? Here's the Fix

This status means Google found and indexed a page on its own — usually through an internal link — but that page isn't listed in your submitted sitemap.xml. It's not an error exactly, but it usually means your sitemap generation missed something.

The fix:

check whether the flagged URL should actually be in your sitemap (a real, canonical page) and update your sitemap generation to include it. If it's a low-value or accidental page, that's a signal to review why it's discoverable at all.
